The Wafian HR-F1 is the world's first portable Direct-To-Disk field 1920X1080 10-bit 4:2:2 HD-SDI video recorder using the award winning CineForm Intermediate format. The HR-F1 is similar to the HR-1 but smaller, lighter and optionally DC powered. 
Dimensions: 10.5"W x 10"H x 14.5"D, 29lbs The HR-F1 records to both .AVI and .MOV formats which provides greater flexibility for editing. The HR-F1 eliminates training costs by providing an easy to use "One Button" interface to record and review your footage. A built in touch screen LCD panel allows you to easily change recording settings and to review your footage immediately after shooting with the speed of non-linear access. Major advantages of going Direct-to-Disk are preserving color depth, eliminating the limitations of linear playback from tape, extending your recording capacity, and saving time by streamlining your workflow. The HR-F1 can record up to 10 hours of 10-Bit 1920 x 1080 24P footage into its removable media drives. Optionally, the HR-F1 is available with a 160 GB solid state (flash) disk for high shock and vibration recording. The HR-F1 replaces outmoded tape decks with state of the art, affordable technology designed for the Film, Broadcast, and Telecine professional.
