Wafian HR-2 HD Video Recorder

The Wafian HR-2 is a 10-bit 4:4:4 dual-link HD-SDI recorder for digital film workflows.  The HR-2 records into the CineForm 444 format at 360 Mb/s and as with the HR-1, the new HR-2 empowers film-makers and broadcasters with affordable and efficient workflow options without sacrificing quality.

The HR-2 records to both .AVI and .MOV formats which provides greater flexibility for editing.  You can also export DPX files for compatibility with Avid workflows.

The HR-2 eliminates training costs by providing an easy to use "One Button" interface to record and review your footage. A built in touch screen LCD panel allows you to easily change recording settings and to review your footage immediately after shooting with the speed of non-linear access.

The HR-2 replaces outmoded tape decks with state of the art, affordable technology designed for the Film and Telecine professional. The dual-link HR-2 records full resolution HD from HD-SDI feeds from most HD cameras.  The HR-2 records your footage into a mirrored configuration to always ensure the safety of your footage.
