Multiple-Camera Recording Workflow

The diagram below depicts a real-life scenario for a multi-camera recording production, which can be achieved in any of the formats supported by Wafian recorders.  All camera images are recorded Direct-to-Disk using WafianDDRs, making the digital master files immediately available online.  Note that each of the clips contain their own time code, which is acquired from the camera.  All of your cameras in the workflow can then be gen-locked in order to maintain a universal time code across your material.  Once each of the files are created, they become instantly available across a network for the editorial department to begin their work.  Most important, they are able to work with digital master copies of the footage… good bye tape, never re-digitize again!
